Lean Manufacturing and Operations Engineer

We are looking for a candidate who can come in and take the lead on doing just that.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Optimization of manufacturing and operations processes for product quality, cost efficiency, safety and overall company profitability
  • Identify, coordinate, implement and lead Lean initiatives in Manufacturing and Operations
  • Identification, evaluation and implementation of new technologies and processes
  • Prioritize projects and activities based on value they will deliver to the business
  • Design and implementation of manufacturing and production processes to efficiently produce new products
  • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and adjust priorities in response to changing business needs


  • BS Engineering/Science degree (Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferred), Masters a plus
  • 3-6 years in a manufacturing or operations role with significant responsibility and proven results
  • Training in Lean principles and successful execution of Lean initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with cross-disciplinary teams
  • Proven ability to identify, develop and execute effective solutions to manufacturing and operations challenges
  • Experience and demonstrated success in a leadership role managing/optimizing manufacturing and operations
  • Excellent with numbers, calculations, reporting and quantitative analysis
  • Excellent in Excel and ability to quickly learn software applications
